The Artistic Difference

There is an art to photography and my fingerprint will be within every file I edit. No shortcuts. Passion for your work makes all the difference among photographers. I believe your love story can become art and should live forever.

My name is Jim Rode. My team and I create beautiful photography of your engagement and wedding. Each image will be lightly retouched and enhanced. I roam the wedding capturing fabulous moments. Many images are taken to the "darkroom" where the photographs are given my sensational fine-art treatment. My team of photographers and myself serve the greater Dallas and DFW area. I can travel nationwide for destination weddings.

Your wedding, my art. In love and art, you live forever. Jim Rode

Dallas-Ft. Worth Wedding photographer Jim Rode at the Texas White House

Michael and Merrick are married! One of the best love stories I've ever heard was validated at Texas White House in Fort Worth. Here are some sneak peak images from the wedding photographs of this great Austin couple. Images will arrive to their wedding website soon!

Austin engagement and weddings from Jim Rode Wedding Photographer

Life is so sweet! I love to meet cool people and Michael and Merrick fit that description so well. Their wedding is in Fort Worth at the Texas White House, but they live in Austin. I am a Dallas wedding photographer but I thought that an engagement safari where they work and live is superior to one an unfamiliar city. I drove down to Austin to spend the day with the nicest people! They are blessed by God above and so in love! I really, really, really can't wait to photograph their wedding.

Hilton Anatole Wedding photography from - Dallas wedding photographer Jim Rode

Super couple -super family -I am so blessed to photograph the wedding of Greg and Cathy in Forney at St. Martin's church community. The reception was at the Hilton Anatole who did a fabulous job for their Dallas wedding. Although the Texas temps were hitting 106, kissing brought chills! The Hilton spares no expense in keeping the room comfortable, even with 200 people in the room! Greg and Cathy are so devoted to each other and family. I am so blessed being a Dallas area wedding photographer.

Delicious Cakes made the night yummy, as did the Robert Holbert Band. The florals were by Z's Florist and all was coordinated by Water Cooler Weddings - thanks Michelle! After a wonderful dinner, Cathy and Greg were treated to the moves of two amazing Uganda Dancers. Then the party rolled with everyone getting into the act. It really rocked when Greg joined the band sending out cool base beats. What a great night!

Little Chapel in the Woods Wedding from Dallas Photographer Jim Rode

Katherine and Jason married at the Little Chapel in the Woods. The chapel is a magical location and on their wedding day it sparkled -as always. Katherine was excited beyond belief. Happy...so very happy. This is what I like to see in a bride on her wedding day! (as opposed to worry about this or that) Jason held her hands so warmly during the ceremony!

Afterwards, we did the family pictures of course, then sent everyone to Hubbard Hall for the reception...that gave us a few minutes to make images in the woods. Then, walking to the hall, we paused here and there for awesome images. The reception was filled with love, laughter and family. Fantastic! JimRode.com
