The people on our crowded planet are either right-brained or left. Many have brains heavy in between. A good CPA will be left-brained and love numbers...structure...the RULES! A good photographer will be right -brained and heavy into creativity, and artistic endeavors. Many good photographers have work their socks off so they don't fail in business (they don't like to crunch numbers). The worst photogs love the numbers...doing the business...but they're lousy when it comes time to capture a great image.
What am I trying to say? I'm just super proud of my new nickname. My brother's girlfriend Miss Annette, now calls me Jimmy Van Go. In my home hang a lot of fake Van Goughs, courtesy of my painting hobby. I'm not a great painter but that's not the point. Expression, creativity, connection...these are the reasons I proudly paint. I'm painting homage to the prince of the right-brained, Vincent.
